For SDSU, these are minimum Nursing school requirements:
Admission Standards for High School Graduates (Direct Admission)
Admission to the School of Nursing is very competitive. Over the past two years, successful direct admission applicants had an average high school GPA of 3.96, SAT score of 1250, and a Math SAT score of 649. Admission to the School of Nursing is for the fall semester only.
Students with the top GPAs and test scores will be ranked for admission by the SDSU Office of Admissions. Students will be admitted according to rank and the number of positions available.

Grades of B or better in high school intermediate Algebra, Biology, and Chemistry with lab. Minimum GPA of 3.0 or better in A – G coursework. If AP or IB level courses were taken in these areas, you must earn a grade of B or better in the course(s).

Note: Students admitted to SDSU and the nursing program are not coded as Nursing Majors until they successfully complete BIO 211 & 211L, BIO212, BIO 261, CHEM 102, Statistics 250, COMM 103, RWS 100, and RWS 200 with the required grades (B- or above for all Biology courses, C or above for all others).
For CSULB, you get admitted as a Pre-Nursing student by applying with the CSU Mentor application, take the Pre-req’s with required GPA and then apply to the Nursing school after your Sophomore year after taking the TEAS test. I have linked all the information needed.
