I am Class Valedictorian and President, I have a 3.6 G.P.A and an 18 ACT score, a lot of volunteer hours and experience, I'm apart of many clubs at school, and I have taken four college classes so far and received all A's and a B.

What year are you in for High School?

What year were you when you took the ACT, that is fairly low for college bound students? Have you only taken it one time? Most kids do much better the second time once they have the timing down.

If your ACT was around 25, i’d say your chances are about 100%. But even with 18 on the ACT I think you have a fairly good shot because you are involved in many extra curricular activities, your GPA is the the range of MSU acceptance.(3.4-3.9) You have a lot of college classes completed. All that is considering that you are in high school and not in college right now. If you are in college, then you have to complete the 2 semesters of english and 1 semester of math requirement. If you have over 27 credits, they won’t even look at your high school grades or ACT.

Get that ACT score higher. You may be extremely qualified with the other stuff, but that ACT score of 18 will really, really hurt you.

Unless it’s a typo and you meant 28. In that case, you should be fine.

Not with an ACT of 18. If it’s a typo and it’s 28, you’ll be fine.

That ACT score is quite low, MSU average is around a 26, get that up and you’re a shoe in.
