What are my chances of getting a scholarship at Richard Stockton?

3.8 unweighted
3.95 weighted

2300 SATs

Student Council 9-12
Key Club 9-10
Newspaper 10-12
Cross Country 10, 12
National Honor Society 12
Spanish Honor Society 11-12

Any other schools that would give me a scholarship? Or should I improve my GPA?

wait… you want to restrict yourself with a 2300!? there’re plenty of schools that would give you a scholarship. any preferences when it comes to location, diversity, etc.?

However, my GPA is pretty low compared to others and my rank is not that great.

The college just needs to be in or around NJ.

I’m really annoyed with people saying that a 3.8 UW is low. It’s not. Take a look at my 3.02 and see if you feel differently.

As for the Dirty Jerze, I don’t know of anywhere but Rutgers that’s decent and will give money. What about New York? Fordham? What’re you planning on majoring in?

I didn’t mean to annoy or offend you. It’s just that there are so many people in my grade that are better than me, it stinks.

I’m open to the tri-state area as well. PA, NY, just not fordham.

I want to major in a science, not sure which one. I’m interested in sustainability.

Ummm why are you restricting yourself to Stockton?!? A 2300 can easily help u get into upper tier schools. You shouldn’t limit yourself. At least go to Rutgers where u can most def get into the honors program. Rank isn’t everything…

I don’t mind lower tier schools, just as long as they offer a good education. The most important factor for me is scholarship money.

another good NJ school to look at is TCNJ. I’m from New Jersey too, and I’d say TCNJ is your best bet at a cheap and solid education. As for the scholarship, I would expect if not then close to a full ride depending on the classes you have taken and your ECs. Good luck!
