What are my chances of getting accepted to SDSU or UCSD?

My freshman year first semester i got a 3.2 gpa second semester was a 3.4 gpa with 15 hours of community service i had mainly all honors.
Sophomore year 1 semester: 4.1 gpa 2nd semester: 4.3 gpa with community service i had all honor classes and took AP spanish 4 (spanish for spanish speakers) even though it didnt count as AP since my school only enrolled it as an 11 and 12 grade class.
Currently in my junior year i have honors and 2 AP classes (U.S and Chemistry) & i enrolled for CSF & im starting on doing lots of community service & want to join at least 2 clubs & also planning on getting a job & im starting to study for the SAT exam (PSAT)
As for my senior year, im planning on taking 2 AP classes (BIO & ECON) with of course honors and lots of community service as well as clubs
What are my chances?

Google “XXX university Common data set” then go to section C which outlines the evaluation criteria and stats of admitted students. Then compare yourself. You need to figure out your cumulative GPA and take the ACT or SAT. Without those, it’s not possible to even hazard a guess.

And you can chill about the community service. having or not having it won’t really matter as long as you’re involved in something. It’s a myth.

Freshman grades are not included in the CSU/UC GPA calculation: http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
You need 10-11th grades for your a-g courses to determine your CSU/UC GPA so you need to finish the year so see how you measure up. Freshman grades are reported on the application and Senior grades are not considered for admission.

You also need SAT/ACT scores to be properly chanced.

For SDSU, CSU/UC GPA and SAT/ACT scores are the items need for admission. You will need to calculate your Eligibility index as follows:
(CSU GPA x800) + (SAT Math + CR) or (CSU GPA x200) + (ACT comp x10). An EI of 4100+ SAT or 1000+ ACT will put you in good standing for SDSU.

For UCSD, your essays and EC’s along with your UC GPA/test scores and HS course rigor will be considered for admissions.

Average UC GPA: 4.13 SAT: 2034 ACT: 30 for UCSD.

How many AP classes will you have by end of Junior year? Are you taking the most rigorous HS schedule?

Repost at end of Junior year with your Stats and then you can be chanced.

Good Luck.

You are on the right track. Do your best this year and check back in when you have a more complete picture.
