What are my chances of getting into Duke?

I’m curious as to what my chances of getting into Duke University are. I’ve made good use of the opportunities I’ve been given. However, I’m worried about my standardized test scores. Here’s a list of my credentials:

ACT score:
Composite: 29
English: 36
Math: 27
Reading: 29
Science: 25

SAT (new) score:
Overall: 1320
Math: 630
Reading: 690

GPA:
Unweighted: 3.99
Weighted: 4.95

Clubs:
Public relations officer of my school’s Beta Club
Member of National Honor Society
Member of my school’s student government
Member of the LGBT club

Sports:
Varsity Softball 9th 10th
Varsity Soccer 9th 10th 11th
Varsity Cross-County 11th 12th

I also took 5 APs during my junior year and I’m currently taking 6 for my senior year. I passed 4 out of 5 of them last year, and scored a 5 in psychology, which is what I want to major in. I’m also from North Carolina and I’ve heard that Duke pays a little more attention to NC residents.

So do I stand a chance?

Unless you are a minority student your chances are low. The ACT score is below the 10th percentile for Duke accepted students.

Being from NC helps a little.

Agree with @sgopal2 … Excellent GPA and decent EC’s but ACT score is really low. Have you considered retaking? If you’re from NC you should also look at UNC, which I’m sure you’re already doing. Good luck to you.
