I am curently a CC student in Arizona, and I am going to be moving to columbus over the summer. I am in love with columbus, more specifically The Ohio State University. I am in my fourth semester, and I already have 33 credits, and I am currently enrolled for 17 for this spring semester. Now unfortunately for me, I have a 2.63GPA, and I have dropped quite a few classes in the past, which shows a "W" on my trascript, but does not affet my GPA. I hope to be close to a 3.0, by the end of the spring semester. I have already sent in my application and my transcripts, but the wait is killing me. So I would realy just like to know if I have a good chance of getting in.

Anything would help guys, what do you guys honestly think?

with a gpa like that, not very high

Right now, you are an out-of-state applicant, you don’t have a full two years of credits, and you have less than a 3.0. That combination is not very promising.

If you aren’t admitted to Ohio State, once you do arrive in Columbus, find out which of the community colleges in that area are most successful at placing their transfer students at Ohio State. Also, find out about the requirements for in-state residence at that community college. It may be possible to study part-time (and continue to bring up your GPA) while you wait out the time needed to be an in-state applicant at Ohio State. Then the whole game will change for you.

Wishing you all the best!
