I'm an Ohio resident, and I plan to apply to Ohio State University's school of engineering, but I'm afraid that I won't get accepted, due to my low SAT score and GPA. The reason that I want to be part of the engineering program is so I can premajor and then eventually major in Computer Science and Engineering. I read the prerequisites for OSU's undergraduate engineering program, and it said that most accepted students were in the 25 percentile. That being said, I'm in the 24 percentile, but my unweighted, cumulative GPA is still low. I have an unweighted GPA of 3.2, with my freshman, sophomore, and junior grades put together. Next year, I will be a senior taking two AP classes, computer science, and journalism, so I hope to maintain a somewhat rigorous looking schedule. Now for my SAT score... Well, I got a 1770, which is pretty terrible, but I plan to retake it soon.

Do i have any chances of getting accepted into Ohio State's college of engineering? If not, are there other college of engineering schools that are easier to get into
