What are my chances of getting into TAMS?

Hi, I’m a freshman in high school.
I have recently been looking into an opportunity of getting into TAMS and I was wondering how my chances would figure at this rate.

Semester 1 (9th Grade) GPA: 3.714 (Unweighted)

Extracurriculars: HOSA (State Finalist)
BPA
Spanish Club
Student Council
Math & Science Club

Also, what are my chances of getting into Brown University if I have a cumulative GPA of 3.7 throughout high school?

I can’t really address TAMS, but having a 3.7 GPA will hurt your chances of getting into Brown. If you have a rigorous course schedule then it’s not a deal breaker, but other parts of your app will absolutely have to compensate.

Thanks Tman1005, but is it possible to get into a decent pre-MED program with my GPA? Is 3.8 good enough for Brown?

Hey man, I am Junior at TAMS right now. I can’t tell you whether you are going to get in or not but I can tell you what it takes to get in. First, do your absolute best in classes, impress your teachers, yes be a kiss up. Improve your SAT score. Excel in the extracurricular activities you are involved in, the HOSA state finalist is good. Do volunteering as much as possible. Do all those things and you’ll be a competitive applicant
