Edge yourself into the top 25% (maybe by taking some easier classes next year), and just take the sat again, aiming to get a 600 in math. If you can make top 25% (which you’re close to) and get a 1300 Math + Reading on the SAT with at least 600 in Math and Reading respectively, you get auto-admitted to the college.

Unfortunately, I am applying this summer and there is no time to get into the top 25%. But I am able to take the SAT again and thanks!

Don’t apply until you get your fall grades if you can wait. Normally I know submitting the app early is a good thing, but if you wait and get auto-admitted does it really matter?

Apply early. If you make top 25% by the end of the Fall semester and have the requisite SAT scores, just let A&M know and they will switch you to academic admit. Honestly, getting in will be a long shot, if you do not have the SAT score or the class rank to be an academic admit, in my opinion.

Well the admissions deadline is December 1st…my fall semester ends a good ways after that.

The rejections do not start rolling in until March or April. So, if your class rank rises into the top 25% and you have not already been accepted, I believe you will be able to switch to auto admit. Good luck.
