My resume is pretty consistent. I have been involved with tech, and head a couple tech departments. I started out in the ensemble and worked my way up to leading roles.
If there’s anything else you’d like to know to come to a more accurate conclusion, I’d be happy to share.
Any thoughts? Also, if any of you have, or known anyone who has auditioned for Tisch (Drama), what is the process like? What can I expect of it?
Thank you!
I don’t exactly believe in chancing as there are far too many variables, but I got in ED1 to the drama department with comparable (if not lower) gpa/scores. They weigh the admission process 50/50 between your numbers and your audition. All I can say is just go for it. Show them your honest self, that you love what you do, and don’t let yourself worry. Everyone was so supportive and kind at the auditions- it’s clear they all want you to succeed. Break a leg!
Thank you, gothosaurus! The audition was really great. The people were all so nice. It was just a little daunting that my adjudicator barely looked up from her screen during my interview.
Congrats! Try not to worry about their not looking up too much, I had the same sort of thing happen at mine.
