I am a US student, with a 1430 SAT score, 32 ACT score, 4 in AP English Language and Composition, 5 in AP US History, and a 5 in AP Psychology. My weighted GPA is a 3.88
How do I stack up comparatively to most applicants to the University of Edinburgh? I haven’t been able to find these statistics anywhere.
They may give you an admission ‘with condition’ of getting certain SAT Subject Test scores, just fyi. My D was accepted last year there in Bio (4.0 UW GPA, 33 ACT, NMF, etc.). They notified early (Dec!) that she was accepted but had to subject tests above 605 in Bio and Chemistry. FYI, she had similar offer from Durham in England. She got an unconditional acceptance from St. Andrews (which seems to do admissions more like an American college).
She ended up not pursuing any of them and choosing a US college.
Anyway – yes, look up the standards for your program and you’ll learn more.
