What are my Chances of Getting into UC Berkeley?

I REALLY want to go to Berkeley, but I don't know if I have what it takes. I have about a 4.37 weighted gpa (6 AP's; this is including the mandatory non-uc classes, so real gpa is probably higher), 2300+ SAT, SAT II 800/790, ec's completely filled up (participated in leadership forum programs during summer, pres of tech club, worked @ tech museum, etc etc)

I really want to get in, but I don't want to pick a major that will lower my chances of getting in. I'm debating between College of Engineering: Engineering Science and College of L&S: Computer Science. EECS+Engineering undeclared are the hardest, but between EngSci and LS compsci, what should i pick to increase my chances of getting in? any other suggestions are welcomed too

thx

You are in even if you apply as Engineering major. Just keep up the good work. Berkeley is actually a safe match school for you.

but if i were to play it safe, how much easier would l&s cs be compared to engineering science?

You'd have a better chance if you're in state. If you aren't, then it'd might be tougher but I think you'd still have a really good chance.

ok so what i'm understanding from this is that there isn't that big of a difference b/w choosing engsci and l&s compsci in terms of acceptance possibility

and yes, i'm in state
