What are my chances of getting into UCSB for zoology?

Hi, I am junior in high school and I have a 3.8 weighted gpa, 1310 on the SAT, 300 community service hours with a dog rescue since eighth grade, taken 2 honors classes so far, and have taken two AP classes(I plan on taking two more next year.) I have also completed the AP capstone certificate program as well. What chances do I have of getting into UC Santa Barbara for Zoology, Cal State Long Beach for Biology, or Loyola Marymount for Biology?

UCSB is going to be a stretch…

CLSUB and LMU are definitely possible. UCSB will not be an easy admit so make sure you have some great personal insight essays and you have some good community service that align well with your intended major.

2018 Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19 capped weighted and not major specific:
UCSB: 38%

2018 UC capped weighted GPA averages:
UCSB: 4.13

2018 Data:
25th - 75th percentiles for SAT:

UCSB: 1270-1500

UCSB does not admit by major to the College of Letters and Sciences where Biology/Zoology majors reside.
All students interested in any area of the biological sciences enter UCSB as pre-biology majors. The pre-major provides a strong interdisciplinary foundation for all the majors and provides students with opportunities to explore the subdisciplines of biology before deciding which biology major best fits their goals and interests. After completion of a subset of this key preparatory coursework, students may petition to declare one of the 10 biology majors. Over 150 upper division courses are available for students in these majors. These courses include laboratory and field studies, lectures and seminars, and independent studies and group projects.
