What are my chances of getting rescinded?

Well I got admitted to CSULB and it is currently one of my top choices. My problem is I got a D in one of my classes first semester. It said on the website that I need a Completion of all senior year courses with a grade of “C” or higher. Does the first semester grades count for this or just the final grades? Does it matter if I brought the grade up to an A? I don’t want to accept the admission and find out when it’s too late that I got rescinded or something.

Also, what would happen if my admission gets rescinded? Would I have to take a gap year?

First talk to your GC about whether they will only look at end of year grades. I think that may be the case. If your admission is rescinded you can attend a CCC and transfer after two years. I’m not sure what the CSU will do in a gap year because that D will still be on your record. Once again, talk to your GC about this.
