Currently a senior in high school, attending SUNY Albany in the fall; and would like to attend Barnard as a sophomore as a fresh start. I didn't do so well in high school because of a horrible freshman/sophomore year--graduating high school with a 2.8-3.0 cumulative GPA.

My SAT score was a 1770-
Math- 570
Reading- 600
Writing- 600

I am pretty set on trying to get the best GPA possible my freshman year at Albany. So let's say I get a 3.8-4.0 GPA my freshman year at Albany with a compelling essay, good supplements, and professor recommendations, what would you say my chances of primarily getting into Barnard are? How about Columbia and nyu?
