I'm only a sophomore right now, so my gpa is just an estimate and I only have my PSAT score right now, but Georgetown is my dream school.

GPA: 4.25(weighted) 3.9(unweighted)
PSAT:180
EC's:
NHS 10,11,12
Key Club 9,10,11,12
Model UN 11,12
Varsity tennis team 9,10,11,12
A/V volunteer @ my church 9,10,11,12
Lead and Organize free tutoring service for children in need in local neighborhoods 10,11,12
German Club 9,10,11,12

In general, you have a decent chance, like everyone who applies. You’ll eventually need to consider who you’ll be competing against in your grade. Your PSAT score is low for a place like Georgetown, but your GPA seems about right. Your ECs reflect a love for community service.

My advice is to distinguish yourself from the other sporty, volunteering-oriented kids. Maybe get a few awards for your service, start a club, etc. Showing more leadership will make Georgetown think your abilities extend beyond extracurricular status. Don’t fall to pieces trying to be well-rounded; rather, find something to be passionate about that you can continue to do while you’re at Georgetown.
