What are my chances? What else should I do?

Hey guys, thanks in advance for helping me out.
First of all, about myself; I’m a sophmore in the IB program at my local highschool. I am 100% sure I want to do banking/finance and my #1 choice is UPenn Wharton.
I got all A’s freshman year, and will most likely get a B in AP euro this year, but I have a 96% in Pre-Calculus. I started a chapter of the business/marketing club; DECA at my school and I’m the president. We only had 10 kids this year but I’ve got about 120 signed up for next year. In DECA I won the district decision making event and am proceeding to states. I work at my local country club, starting hospital volunteering soon, and volunteer at a retirement home. I also play a big role in my hindu temple’s non profit band that raises about $7000 each year for the temple. I play guitar in the band and help any of the kids that need it with their music. I also regularly attend Model UN conferences as part of my school team, along with clubs that all hs kids do (beta, nhs, etc.) My PSAT score was a 1280/1520 and I plan to take SAT Math subject tests this year. I’m working on some internships for this summer and run a youtube channel about car reviews that is growing. More of a personal goal, I want to inspire people through the channel, with a topic I love; cars. I hope to reach 100k subs by the end of high school. What are my chances of getting in to UPenn and other major business schools. What are my chances of getting in, and what else should I do to improve my chances. Thank you all so much for your time.

You’re on the right track!
It’s a little early to tell if you’ll get in since you just started your sophomore year. But again, I think you have a lot going for you right now.
Hm…I guess any advice would be to continue doing what you’re doing, but to find something you’re really interested in and pursue it. Get creative and think about what you are passionate about. Then (and this is the hard part), while maintaining great grades and test scores as well as community involvement/clubs/music/sports, dive headfirst into whatever you’re most interested in. Make sure you have something to show for it, too–if you’re into science, maybe you could start a research project; humanities–you could write an article and get it published in a high-profile magazine or even a book; math–work on a long-standing math problem; etc, etc, etc. But make sure you’re doing it for YOU–a lot of people on here say that, but in all seriousness, they’re right. Don’t just take seven billion AP classes because it will look good. Obviously you want a rigorous schedule, but perhaps instead of taking another AP this or that, you could use that time to design your own project or conduct your own research

Hahaha wow that was kind of long! Just my two cents

Here’s a good site for information: http://mitadmissions.org/blogs/entry/applying_sideways

It’s for MIT, but it applies everywhere. Good luck!

Thank you guys so much! What do you think of my idea with youtube? Should I pursue it further? It’s truly something I love and the long term goal is to inspire people to do what they love and give them advice with anything they need, while sharing common passions for cars. Do you think it’s something that will look good on applications (but I’m definitely doing it because it makes me happy:) ).

Thanks for your insight once again!
