What are my chances?

I was wondering what everyone here thinks my chances are of getting into Yale! Is there anything I can do to make myself standout more as a Yale applicant?

-By the end of my senior year I will have taken AP Calc, AP Stat, AP World History, AP European History, APUSH, AP French, AP Environmental Science, AP English, AP Lit, and AP Art History along with many honors classes. (all AP tests were scored either a 4 or a 5)
-I am a member of NHS, I have been a Varsity Cheerleader for two years.
-I went to a small island in the Bahamas to help rebuild a library that was destroyed by Hurricane Ike
-I went on a service trip to Romania to provide a medical clinic for one of the orphanages
-I went to India and went to a remote orphanage and helped to rebuild.
-I have a 35 on the ACT (only taken once)
-My cumulative GPA (unweighted) is a 3.95

The GPA is out of 4.0…sorry about that!

What race are you? Do you have any hooks?

If yes, then you have a chance with good essays.

Hooks? I’m not sure what you mean by that…
(I was also Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper and the Yearbook, as well as being head cheerleader one year.)

Hooks are things like URM, legacy, recruited athlete, siemens/intel winner, etc etc.

Basically a made-up word on CC for extra things that could help in the admissions process, but in truth the majority of applicants are “unhooked”.
