I am currently a junior from Minnesota. I visited William and Mary my freshman year and fell in love with it! Please let me know what you think my chances are of acceptance.

My sophomore GPA was 3.97. By the time this semester's grades are in, I should be at around a 4.03 weighted GPA.

I took the ACT last year and scored a 30 composite. 34E, 31R, 28M, 28S.

I took the SAT II subject test in US History and scored a 740.

As a sophomore I took the AP US History exam and scored a 4.

This year I am taking AP Psych, AP World History, AP English Lang and Comp, Honors Spanish 3, and Honors PreCalc. I am also starting AP Chem next semester because it is a 3 semester course that will go through senior year.

I normally receive A's in my honors or regular classes. I have found that this semester it is possible that I will receive A-'s in my 3 AP classes and Honors PreCalc. How severely will this impact my acceptance?

Next year I plan on taking AP Lit, AP Macro, AP Calc, AP Art History, AP Chem and a fourth year of Honors Spanish. I did not include physics in my plan. This is mainly due to the fact that I am taking both AP Calc and AP Chem already, and recognize that I am not as strong in math/science as I am in English/social sciences. I know that W&M likes to see a Physics class. I just don't think I will be able to make it happen. How severely am I hurting my chances by omitting it from my schedule?

As far as extracurriculars go, I am in Mock Trial (and hope to become captain next year if all goes well) Youth in Government (co-chair of my school's delegation this year as well as a member of the State Steering Committee) Cougars Leading Cougars (upperclassmen helping out the freshmen) Teen Advisory Council at the Minnesota History Center (we are working on building our own exhibit from scratch) Spanish Club and National Honor Society. This summer I found a job doing data analysis. I was also a student ambassador to Australia with People to People. I have previously participated in William Mitchell's Future in Learning Law program, Youth Teaching Youth (drug awareness for middle schoolers) and my school's dance team.

I volunteer with the Minnesota Historical Society several times per month. I also organize groups of friends to go to Feed My Starving Children on a regular basis.

I have a passion for history and I feel that W&M would be a great place to help me explore it more! I plan on attending law school after completing undergrad.

What advice do you have? Would you make any changes to my schedule?

Thanks for your time!
