Hi Everyone,
Hope you take the time out to reply to my post.

I am an international student from India. I just wanted to know what my chances are to get into the IVY League and other top Universities such as Stanford and Chicago.

My profile is as follows:

SAT: Math: 710, Critical Reading: 690, Writing: 650
SAT II: Math: 760, Physics: 720
Apart from my scores, the factor that can add weight to my application is that I have taken a year break to work on an internship. I am interested in politics so I have taken a year out to work for a politician and gain some experience in the field. I am working on a unique initiative to connect politicians with the people directly through social media so that problems can be addressed by the people to the representatives directly. It is a one of its kind project in India.

Extracurricular Activities:
Learned a South Indian Martial Art for 6 years.
Part of the Student Council for 5 years [President for 2 Years]
Learned a South Indian classical instrument for 5 years.
Came second in a State Level Debate and Elocution Competition.
Head Delegate for School MUN Team
Volunteered in a Community Kitchen and participated in cleaning drives in the community for the past 7 years.
Was part of a Guinness World Record to plant 7 million trees in a single day.
Played several important roles in school theater.
Captain of school Soccer Team and school Sports Team.
Practiced Yoga for the past 7 years everyday for 45 minutes.

I applied EA to U of Chicago and they have deferred my application.
It would be awesome if someone replied to this.

Thank You!!!
