Gpa is roughly 90.
Sat is 1900 ( 740 math 550 cr 610 writing)
I plan on taking it again in october.
I'm going to take my sat 2 in november.

Played football throughout highschool. 2 year jv 2 year varsity.
Wrestled throughout highschool as well. 2 year jv and 2 year varsity.
I have atleast 40 community service hours.
I was in 2 clubs throughout highschool.

How can I boost my chances?

Solid in the math, okay in the CR, good in the writing.

My DS is going into his 2nd year at UCONN, he had 200 + hours of community and schoo service. Not to say that 40 is not a lot. I have seen kids that have some serious community & school involvement.

I understand your posting a baseline of your assets but if you go into more detail more people can help.
Example: 2 clubs throughout HS. Where were the clubs? What was your involvement? etc, etc.
Comm service 40 hours: Did you help with a church function? Did you help at a summer camp. etc. etc.

You may have more to offer than you know making you a strong candidate. Generate a resume you may surprise yourself.

GPA - 90 ??? I know GPA’s however what is your specific GPA? Example: 5, 4.5, 4, 3.5, etc. and is it weighted or unweighted?

In all with a guess you may be well on your way. UCONN is not a safety school anymore and there are some really serious kids applying. You can boots your chances but digress and write all your thoughts on paper and then creats the resume.

Good luck…

Just to give you someone to compare to: My son will be starting at UCONN in a couple of weeks for Mech Eng. He is OOS, about a 3.3-3.4 GPA, 1980 SAT (720 M, 660 CR, 600 WR), no sports, Eagle Scout (therefore lots of community service hours), part time job for 2 1/2 yrs. He did attend a summer program for high schoolers interested in Engineering last summer at UCONN. UCONN became his nbr 1 choice after attending that program. Maybe it helped, who knows?

Good luck!
