Great!

Thanks for the feedback people, it's greatly appreciated

Sat II’s

1 730

2 670

Also, I have a lot of bad test scores and those scores were my super scores…Only Princeton, Harvard, Brown, and Dartmouth are score choice.

Pretty decent chances, but scores arent the highest.

I agree. Your scores (like everyone else’s) could have been higher, however it seems to me you have an OK chance. Of course I am no one to make that deduction, but you never know with the ivy leagues. You might get in, therefore I would like to say good luck! Chance me too!

Your SAT score might be a deal breaker, but the rest looks good. Given that you didn’t ditch every other class period I’d say you have a good chance of getting in at Cornell and Columbia. The rest is up to the admin officers, but you’re definitely a viable candidate.

Unless they take into account that you’re white. Last year the rank #1 student who was president of Mock Trial and I don’t know what else with fantastic SAT scores and such was rejected from all the Ivies he applied to. The general consensus is that he was rejected because he was white and he ditched like every other class period.

Honestly I don’t get your SAT score. Thought SATs were out of 2400?

Anywho, ECs lookin’ good. You’re obviously committed to your activities, especially sports, what with you being team captain and all.

thanks for the feedback!!
I have’nt faired that well so far unfortunately
Accepted: UVA (in-state)
WL: UChicago
Rejected: Amherst/Georgetown

and keep it coming, please : ]

decent chance at ivies, though I do admit that being white/no hooks really doesn’t help you out. Based on grades and ECs alone, you should have a good shot. It would also help if you mentioned what Ivies you applied to. I’m also confused about your SAT scores… why is it out of 2120 or am I misinterpreting it?

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/894663-chance-me-por-favor-ill-chance-back-muy-rapido.html</a></p>

To clarify
1410 on Verbal and Math
2120 Overall
Thanks Guys!!

Also, I applied all the ivies minus yale.

i’ll chance ya back if you post a link

You look pretty good for the ivies…it’s all al luck game with them though
The only reasons I would say that you wouldn’t get in is because of your SAT (which is pretty good…) and no hook
But you have a good shot! You’re solid in everything else

i know ivy’s dont give athletic scholarships, but your sports might help getting in given your grades are amazing. i looked into some ivy men’s golf teams, specifically yale and princeton, and they’re nothing special…

I don’t think HYPS because of your SAT2s and SAT, but some of the “lower” ivies, maybe. (But you know your results already, so…) http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/897711-chance-me.html</a></p>
