Not very many APs being offered, but I am taking 1 this year (English). I will take more next year. I am also taking one dual credit class (Accepted - most in state schools.) Other classes are honors unless they are not offered as honors, dual, or AP.

If your verbal + math + writing scores add up to 1620, that means you are averaging 540 on each exam. Unfortunately, that makes getting into Caltech virtually impossible, since almost all of our applicants get quite close to perfect on the math and very high scores on the rest. Applying to Caltech with such a score, unfortunately, would probably be a waste of your application fee. There are plenty of good schools, though, that would be quite interested in you; maybe look at state schools with good bioengineering programs.

In case you made a mistake transcribing your score, the general guideline is that your math should be between 720 and 800 and your verbal and writing should add up to at least 1300 (with rare exceptions). Outside of these ranges, it would be a lie to say the chances are anything but very very slim.

Even if you have made a mistake transcribing the SAT score, there's not much else of interest to us in your statpile.

My GPA is on a 4.0 Scale

You have no math/science extra-curriculars, an ok-at-best GPA, and low SAT scores. Save your time.
