What are my possible options?

So i just completed my first semester of college here at Houston Community College. With this semester coming to an end, I unfortunately did very bad in this semester but i plan on taking a few summer courses to bring up my gpa. I wanted to transfer by Spring of 2019 and i wanted to know if that was possible. I am currently enrolled in a nursing major but i am planning on changing that and i wanted to know if it is possible for me to be admitted for the spring 2019 semester based off of my gpa by the end of the summer. I wanted to know if I can apply for Spring 2019 with an undeclared major and decide my major once i am admitted into my desired school? If this option is possible, what are the steps i need to take?

What classes did you take?
What’s your GPA?
Why the hurry? Admission to nursing school is VERY HARD so you want to have all the pre-reqs with the best possible grades.
Also, if you didn’t do well in community college which is easier than a 4-year, why do you want to risk failing out of a 4year?
So, not only m I not sure you can, hurbil sure you housing try to transfer early.

Hi, I want to apply as a new student for the Spring Semester and i no longer want to continue with a nursing major. Is it possible for me to apply for Spring 2019 with an undeclared major?

If you repair your grades and have a 3.0+ you MIGHT butbodds aren’t good. Applying in the spring with two semesters worth of decent grades is your best approach.
What’s your current GPA?

my current gpa is very bad, 2.08. I plan on taking summer semesters this june and july and roughly calculating the grades i would get during summer, my gpa would rise to 2.53. I know that is still a very weak gpa but since this would be a regular application is the minimum gpa requirement 2.5? So would i be able to apply with a 2.5 gpa for Spring 2019 then once I’m accepted into my school, decide on a major?

2.53 is not enough. You need at least one more semester of grades.
How many credits will you have by the end of summer?
2.5 is the minimum but the minimum to be considered is different from the level required to be admitted.

I’m not entirely sure about the number of credits i would have by the end of the summer. I know for a fact my gpa would rise to at least 3.0 after my fall semester but application deadlines for spring end sometime in November.I really want to leave by spring 2019 so as of now, what are my possible options? should i consider taking either ACT or SAT as i haven’t taken either, would my admission to my school be based on the score for one of those as well as my gpa?

If you apply with 14 credits or less, they’ll use your High school class rank + SAT score to decide whether they admit you.
What’s your HS rank?
Why do you want to leave after a year? Most students need 2 years before they can transfer.

I didn’t go to an American high school. I went to an international school and i did one year of the IB diploma program before i moved to Houston Community College. I want to leave after a year because i am still not sure of my major and i would just want to apply to my list of schools as an undeclared major, then decide on a major once I’ve been admitted. But what i’m wondering now is what would i apply with? just my gpa?

Why didn’t you complete the second year of the IB program?
Did you graduate high school?
Do you have an IGCSE diploma?
Why did you never take the sat or act?
These questions would factor in.

Email international admissions at UH and ask how they handle international applicants whose school didn’t rank.

Up to 14credits: apply under freshman conditions: HS rank (or GPA I suppose) + test scores.
After 14 credits in college you apply as a transfer and they use your college transcript. A 3.0 is strongly recommended although 2.5 is the minimum to be considered.
