What are some application tips you guys would like to share?

While most people despise the entire application process, I am very excited to start applying Texas A&M and looking forward tomorrow for the application to be available. I decided to start now rather then wait at the last minute, stress from school finals, completing other college and scholarship applications. I would like to know any tips you Aggies would like to share :)
Thanks

If at all possible, MEET WITH the ADVISORS!

1) Visit Campus on official tour and Visit the College of your major, shows interest in A&M
2) Visit the Prospective Student Center in your area - this gives you an advisor you can contact for information, and shows great interest in A&M
3) Apply early.

Before senior year starts, really spend some time on building a nice-looking resume that shows your activities, awards, etc. and the hours spent. Some of the other colleges show the format on their Admissions page, but I don’t remember seeing it on A&M’s. You can always follow the resume shown on UT Admissions, and then just adapt it to A&M, like the UIN # label (instead of UT-EID), etc.
It looks really nice if you use a program where you can follow a template.
Attach a copy of your senior class schedule, especially if you have AP classes or anything else showing the rigor that major universities want to see.
Also, work on the A, B, (and maybe C) essays now before senior year takes up time. You can always polish up, add, and modify after school starts, but to have that basic framework done ahead of time is nice.

appply EARLY!
