It’s a fact, Falkirk, Summer Ridge, and Stonehaven all filled up pretty quickly around February but their might still possibly be rooms in Glen Mor.

They filled up in february for the fall quarter? That’s crazy. I didn’t even find out I got in until the middle of march. I just submitted my housing application last night. I really don’t want to live in a Glen Mor. Well, I guess i’ll look for apartments off campus.

for on campus, i would say east lothian since the dorm itself is really nice and social at the same time.

if you know someone interested in renting apt at sterling apts in a 4 person quad apt, i have a room for rent. Available 9/15/10

hey guyz, I am looking for an apt near UCR campus. can you guyz give some suggestions ASAP! ( my email id is simranbal13@yahoo.com)

Go take a look at UV Towers, Sterling and Grand Marc

You should take a tour of all three and see which one you like the most.

I lived in UV Towers this year and am moving to Grand Marc next year. I’ve toured all three
The bedrooms in UVT are smaller, the location is really good and it’s got a kind of hotel type feel that I liked. The living room and kitchen felt really new and our apartment had a bad ass balcony and view that I will miss next year.

We are trying out Grand Marc next year because the bedrooms are bigger and they include a washer and drier. The living room and kitchens at grand marc are smaller than UVT.

Sterling was pretty nice too just the way the buildings are felt a little awkward to me. Hard to explain, but it just didn’t feel as nice? on the outside as UVT or Grand Marc but inside the kitchens big and the rooms are medium sized.

Take a tour and check them out for yourself. All three are pretty nice and they’re all in competition with each other.

^^ completely agree, I checked out all three and settled on grandmarc. Sterling felt different and I cant explain it either!

grand marc, UV towers, and sterling palms are all nice.

On campus…none
Dorms…socialize with people = have fun

Off campus…direnzo apartments (5880 Lochmoor Dr, Riverside, CA)

Reasons why I like diRenzo:
For 500 a month, I got a gigantic room, and a gigantic walk-in closet, with a decent bathroom. Washer/dryer and fridge/microwave and much more amenities included. Gym and Pool included but I don’t use 'em. Nice friendly Filipino mailman who plays the acoustic guitar. Good customer service, and lovely maintenance men who always greet you whe they see you. Free photocopy machine service. Free cookies and mainstream candies almost everytime you walk in the office. The hot chicks who live next door that make me jealous of their boyfriends. The awesome deal for one free garage included with the apt.

What I hate:
The motha****ing traffic noise at night. The apt complex is right by the damn 60 freeway.

Boy I am glad I don’t live there anymore.

So, as a general rule, it’s best to move off-campus after Freshman year?

As long as we spent 3 quarters on campus, we’re good to graduate in terms of on-campus credit requirement, right?

@ itwasthewind

UCR does not have an on campus credit requirement that you need to fufill.

on campus - oban and falkirk
