Crew. If you know anyone who does this, it eats up your life. All your friends are from crew. You plan your day around it. If you decide to row, then any other extracurricular activity is, at best, tough to squeeze in.</p>

<p>Im trying to think of like something really interesting/unique i could take up as a hobby. im sure colleges are sick of seeing the same activities over and over.Any ideas? something inexpensive.</p>
<p>Theatre - President of school troupe, member of state board, officer on international board; huge, huge leadership and involvement that can't be described without a resume</p>
<p>Gay Rights/AIDS Prevention - student liaison for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, organizer of Michigan AIDS Walk, President of Gay-Striaght Alliance</p>
<p>Camp counselor during the summer at a camp that serves children with Autism</p>
<p>Music - play drums for school band and keyboards in jazz combo, as well as 10 years of piano lessons</p>

<p>Those are the main ones. I have some smaller club memberships and things that i'm not even going to mention.</p>

<p>GreenDayFan, maybe you could try abstract photography. I know that may not be the best suggestion, but if you can actually harbor the talent and land yourself somewhere, it might work out.</p>

<p>WOW I really don't do that much! I really wanted to join one of my school sports teams, but I just don't have enough time to go to all the practices because of the FFA requirements at my school!!</p>
<p>I might want to join the debate team at our school (if we have one) and try Newspaper, but I think you have to take Journalism in my school and I can't fit it into my schedule. </p>
