No one's going to read this, because we honestly don't care about what other people's course loads are. We just want to either A) boast, or B) compare with others, and then boast.
People always say that (including me), but these thread aren't going away. So, in the spirit of the thread: MWAHAHAHA, I am taking hard classes! Yay!
did you take those courses actually in your school or some accredited program?

I don't see how anyone can be placed in the exact same courses for 2 consecutive years that he/she has passed...
I took it at some accredited program over the summer so I could skip...turns out the only reason they placed me in it because they didn't receive my transcript from EPGY...but they fixed it. silly me :)

Junior Year:

Honors Precalculus

AP US History

Honors Chemistry

Student Newspaper

AP Lang

STUDY HOUR! -- what do you think of that you filfthy overachievers? ;)

AP French V

actually, i wouldn't normally sign up for a study hour. most kids at my school take one, but i switch high schools for my 7th hour French class, so i needed a tutorial in order to leave school 15 minutes early. anyway, i love it! i've finished my math hw in it two days in a row now.

^I would never look down on a study hour... at my school, you can only take 6 classes each year anyway, so if you have 7 periods, you might as well just take 6 classes lol. Besides, who wants to do homework at home when you could do it at school?! :] Although I get by with just doing my homework in class... but anyway.

^yes, finishing up hw in between awkward class transitions and after quizzes is another method i live by!

you just describes my method of finishing about 90% of the assignments that I am assigned.

Wow. Not just this thread, but other threads that some sophomores have insane classes. Three-4 APs and difficult ones.

I don't understand how one has a life and does all of that?
I have 4 honors and 1 AP, and will get harder the next 2 years but jeez some of the classes people take as sophomores idk, and then not having lunch? I think everyone should have a lunch period.

But oh well.

sophomore:

I'm a sophomore. I like looking through these threads and getting an ego boost because very few sophomore seem to have a harder schedule than me. You can't schedule a class during lunch here, I had thought it would be possible to miss lunch.

Here's the hardest schedule I've seen for a sophomore (Not mine, I post mine earlier on this thread):
0- (AP) Science Research
0- Weightlifting
1- AP Physics BC
2- AP Biology
3- AP Calculus BC
4- Modern World History (Honors)
5- Spanish 5 (Honors)
5.5- Leadership
6- (AP) PE (Yeah, they actually put me in (AP) PE, apparently it's a harder PE class for athletes D:)
7- English 3 (Honors)
8- Varsity Water Polo (2.5-3 hrs/day)
8- Worldwide Olympiad Training
It's from a CCer who I haven't seen much of lately.

LOL, I am fine with my schedule.

Which is

1- Marine Sci Honors
2- Law Studies
3- Integrated Science Honors
4- Algebra II Honors
5- Contemporary Literature
6- AP World History
7- English II Honors
Spanish II (Online)
Driver's Ed. (Online) (after Spanish II)

I need the online classes to graduate.. and blah. But. It's probably the hardest in my whole class too, besides the girl who's #1, I'm #2.

For those with 3/4/ or 5 APs do you do ECs? When? How do you manage that? When do you go to bed?
Since I technically, have 3 APs I'll tell you about what I do. I'd say I typically go to bed at 2 am. (7 hours of sleep ;) Seeing how I catch the bus at 9:50) There are nights however, seemingly more often, that I don't get home for the first time until 10pm. I do around 13 "after school activities" and many times on the same night.

Sometimes you just sacrifice quality for time. Last year, during varsity golf, I would get home every Monday (All APAH work was due by 12 midnight online every Monday) at 9pm and I would skip the 50 page chapter and just go straight to the assignments. That was the only night I work on APAH homework and I still got a 94.

Sometimes I don't even know how I do everything I do. It just kind of happens. LOL And can you believe I'm looking for a part time job?

LOL, I am fine with my schedule.

Whenever I see anyone who has a better sophomore schedule than me, I'm like "what are they taking and how can I make up for it?" I'm pretty egotistical and competitive.

I'm competitive too, but within my school.

I'm going to take probably 3 AP's my Junior and Senior year but that's it with some honors. I don't want to push myself because I know it will be way too much work and I already have too much to deal with. I don't see how one can have a job, take all those classes, do all the EC's, and still have a life?
