What can I do with a Biology major?

I plan on studying bio for my undergrad, and I have a few questions. After my undergrad, I'd like to go on to become a doctor of some kind, which would involve me going into medical school.
1. If i want to go into medical school, would I major in bio and then also do the pre-medical track?
2. What can I do with my bio major if I don't get into med school?(just keeping all of my options open)

You can major in anything as a pre-med, but you have to take the pre-med courses.

Biology majors face stiff competition and relatively poor job prospects at the bachelor’s degree level since there are so many of them.
