I've always had this niggling desire to start a Calvinball club :).
How about you? What clubs do you want to start that you'd never find participants for?
Would you join a Calvinball club? :)

Depends…what is it?

@hannahbannana

I would for sure join the Calvinball club.

Should start the snsd fanboiz club. jkjk no way I’m that out there irl.

No but if I were to start a nonacademic club, it would be the Starcraft Club.Or maybe the philosophy club.

Mock Trial, Quiz Bowl, anything that could operate during lunch instead of after school.

Oh, philosophy club sounds cool. Arguing about random Greek dudes’ ideas? I’m in.
(Yes, I do know more about philosophy than that and I would still be in.)
Calvinball is a sport in which there is only one rule: that the rules are never the same and always random. (It’s from Calvin and Hobbes.) My siblings and I have a Calvinball team and we play against my neighbors.
My school had a mock trial but nobody wanted to do it :(. Really sad. It kinda disbanded.

Ah, ha. OK.

Virginia Tech has an official Quidditch team, apparently, in case anyone`s interested in that. Just throwing that out there. They even have brooms they pretend to fly on and everything.

I’m trying to start a MUN club at our school, so hopefully that’ll work. Have any of you guys done MUN? Do you like it?

Starting MUN at the moment

A 6th grade history club (our middle and high schools are joint) because I love history and I want to get more people enjoying it too. Also college apps :)

MUN is awesome!

A Young Investors Association

I made a science magazine publication in my school.

Duct Tape Strike Force- We organize like a flash mob and set up a time and place to just rush and duct tape someone to a wall, or something.
Applied Gravitational Sciences Club- We throw stuff off the roof.

^
I’m pretty sure both of those clubs would result in disciplinary action.

I want to start an Environmental Club at my school because my school doesn’t have one… But only seniors could do it…

Young Investors sounds cool (I’ll suggest it to my friend who’s obsessed- I wouldn’t join, though. I can’t even play poker.)
My old school had an environmental club, but when the person who organized it graduated it pretty much fell apart. That seems to happen a lot when a really charismatic person starts something and then leaves.

Physics club or engineering club. My school has a chem club, but that is about it on the science and engineering side. I wish my school had put more focus on engineering and science.

Knowledge bowl! Something that doesn’t have to meet a billion times a month, just like once a week for studying and practice rounds!

For some reason my school doesn’t have a newspaper so I’d start that.

Also a qudditch team. And food club, for eating foods.

^ They don`t have a newspaper??? What kind of cruel school is this??? :(

Milk and Cookies club.
Nuff said
