What college campuses have YOU visited?

Been to BC, Northeastern, Tufts, BU, and UT. I’m planning on going to Case Western soon and will also possibly going to WUSTL, Vandy, and Emory if I get in.

Toured Emory, Vanderbilt, Rice, Duke, Harvard, Stanford, UT Austin, Wake Forest, and UNC Chapel Hill. Have seen UIUC but not actually toured it. Lost interest in UT Austin, Wake Forest, and UNC Chapel Hill after touring them.

@Apoc: Was it the atmosphere of the school.

Or the fact that the city of Winston-Salem sucks more than anything in the universe.

I live in central Ohio, so obviously everyone is a huge buckeye fan! I have toured osu(not interested in going), Ohio university, miami of Ohio, Xavier university, and university of Cincinnati. I have planned visits for Pitt, penn state, university of Utah, Clemson, university of south Carolina and Marquette

Just visited UNC-CH, it was damn nice.

I’m warning you man, this city blows. The college should have stayed near Raleigh.

I went into Winston-Salem for dinner, it didn’t seem too bad. I clearly didn’t get a complete view of the town, but the campus itself was very nice (despite the few inches of snow on the ground).

I’m exaggerating slightly, it’s not AWFUL, but I just don’t like living here. I will definitely say that having a car is essential. This city is HORRIBLY unfriendly to pedestrians, with a chronic lack of sidewalks and bike lanes. And public transportation is AWFUL. If I could change one thing it would be to have a halfway decent bus network around here.

There’s no way I’ll have a car in college, and every school has its ups and downs. Wake isn’t my #1 choice anyways…

I don’t know what your top choice is, but the Raleigh area is no better. You’ll want to invest in a good road bike or make a lot of friends who do have cars.
