What college?What major?

Hey everybody, I am an eleventh grader who is very passionate on the AIDS Epidemic in Africa. I want to work for the World Health Organization when I'm older, and I want to be an Ambassdor for Africa. I really want to help in the aiding of Africa. I don't know what I should major in when i go to college, any suggestions? I don't really wan't to major in health, I want to focus on AIDS. I'm from Africa, and I just think it such a beautiful continent, but so many people are dying from this disease. Some of the colleges that I am thinking of are:
California State University Nothridge
Emory University, Atlanta
University of Massachusetts Amherest
University of Maryland College Park
Florida State University
New York University
Does anybody have any other suggestions on colleges or what I should major in??
Thanks, and God Bless

Emory is a very awesome school. I think they have a major called African Studies that might be what you're looking for. I definately think international relations is a good start if you want to be an ambassador.

UVA. They are really known for this (they've had a lot of ambassadors, more than most other places, I can't think of the exact number of the top of my head though)

American University is an excellent school for international studies and they might be able to help you a lot more with the AIDS crisis in Africa than other colleges.

Florida State University if amazing but beware. It is a big party college. The academics extended above the parties though.

look no further!

Definitely major in international studies or African studies.
