So I want to teach english or art in korea. I wanted to know if theres a college that teaches you that or do you go to any college that has education major in it?

My cousin’s daughter, she teaches elementary children. She graduated from Michigan, went to HS school near Canton, OH. I would think that a Primary campus of the big 10 would work well, ie. little accents.

I currently teach English language and i LOOOOOVE the arts, though I don’t teach any art here…but I live in Korea. You really don’t need to go anyplace special. You just need a degree and if you get a masters degree, you will have more options. You can teach in the public schools here with just a bachelors though. Just go wherever you want and study English teaching or art or both and then when you are ready, apply to one of the many teaching jobs over here. Good luck!

I’m actually at this path right now. Nothing about arts but I want to teach English in Korea.

You don’t need a specific degree to teach but you don’t want to waste your time getting a random degree just to satisfy the Bachelor’s Degree requirement.

For me, I’m looking into Linguistics and Asian Language and Cultures from UCLA or East Asian Cultures. Also, Global Cultures and maybe Intercultural Communication.

Idk. Just look ahead. What if you don’t want to teach anymore. Plan straight.
