What colleges do you suggest?

Hi! I came here a while ago and actually got some good advice since I was so confused. So I'm here again as the college application process is finally kicking in.
I want to go on the pre med track, so I definitely don't want to be in debt for my undergrad. I have a solid 2100 SAT score, 3.9 GPA, good extra curriculars, and I'm Muslim if that makes a difference haha. Any suggestions on what schools I should look into?
Right now I have University of Washington, Seattle U, Gonzaga U, University of Michigan, Georgetown, Boston U, and Columbia as a reach.

It depends on what kind of scholarship you can get and whether a school is in-state or out-of-state. Private universities also cost a lot more than public. It also depends on what you and/or your parents can afford to pay for undergrad.

I’m aiming for privates because I know they give a lot of financial aid. Well, most of them do. I was just looking for schools that other people suggested, because I don’t know what qualifies as a safety, reach or match for me.

It looks like you would be in-state for Washington. UMich will be full pay for you which doesn’t match your desire to keep college costs down.
You might want to consider Emory University. From what I understand (my dad graduated from Emory and gets lots of mail from them) there is a lot of aid available if cost is an issue (it’s very expensive to attend Emory). Emory has a great pre-med program and I would definitely suggest it, despite the recent bad news surrounding Emory.

Do you expect to qualify for any need based aid? Or are you looking strictly for merit based aid? When you say “Privates give a lot of aid”, just trying to clarify which type of aid you mean.

Do you have any size or location restrictions? You say pre-med, do you have a specific major in mind?

Use the net price calculator on each college web site to get a need-based aid estimate.

But also check for large merit scholarships, both automatic ones given in the link a few posts back, and competitive ones.

A lot of people have recommended Emory to me, so I’ll definitely check it out. I mean merit based aid mostly, I’m not sure if we qualify for Financial Aid or not but I’m filing the FAFSA anyway. And location is either coast, preferably ”pretty” nature wise since I’m coming from the evergreen Pacific NW, but close to urban life would be good as well.

Oh and as for majors, I was leaning towards public health.
