What colleges?

If I'm right, the vast majority of ibanking recruitment is held from the more prestigious schools in the country, the vast majority of which I'm not getting in to with this. I can't afford private schools for the most part, so that narrows it even more. Out of state public is an option with the exception of Great Lakes region.

Here's how it stands:

Going on to senior year, just finished junior
HS Uwt. GPA: 3.33
HS Wt. GPA: 3.5
ACT w/ writing composite score: 33 (strong possibility of 34 if I retake)
SAT: NA
SAT II's: Math lvl2- 750, US- 720
Very few but some extracurriculars: 4 years out-of-school fencing, several in-school clubs
AP's: 6 if including senior year, 3 taken so far
HS API score: 897
HS does not provide class rankings
Residency in California

What schools can I potentially look at if any at all that will actually land me a job after?

Thanks in advance!

The top schools in California are Stanford, UC-Berkeley, USC, UCLA, Caltech, Pomona, and Claremont McKenna in terms of recruiting. Given your situation it seems that all those schools are eliminated whether that is because of your financial situation or GPA.

I recommend looking into UCI/UCSB who both have a fair amount of IB/VC guys in the Los Angeles region. In addition you may consider community colleges that have great transfer programs into UC-Berkeley and UCLA.

When it comes to out of state public schools try to find ones that do have some recruitment from investment banks and after a year or two you could pay the in-state tuition.

Some public schools that receive recruitment from investment banks are:
University of Michigan
Indiana University
University of Texas @ Austin
University of Virginia
University of North Carolina @ Chapel Hill
Georgia Institute of Technology
