<p>I expected a 3 and got a 5. I think the MC might have saved me, especially because the DBQ had no major bias, I totally missed the timeframe for the silk road essay, and I pretty much wrote down a random regurgitation of presumptions on the racial ideology essay.</p>

<p>But I got a 5! The MC definitely did save me too though, Keasbey; I wrote three really crappy essays.</p>
<p>I felt that my DBQ was solid overall; it was just the lack of notable bias (like in EVERY OTHER practice DBQ I’d written or looked at) that frustrated me. Silk Road essay, I had a lot of good information, but I ended up missing the timeline (I mentioned the Zhou dynasty, hahahah) on some of it.</p>

<p>Dang this stinks. I didn’t take any APs my freshman year and AP World was the only AP offered that year. Now, after finding out my scores, I missed AP National Scholar (8 4s or 5s) by 1 4 or 5 => apparently its rare for a rising senior so I guess it stinks that I got so close. I regret not taking AP World my freshman year because I think with good studying I might have gotten 4-5…plus its good college credit and history is fun to learn.</p>
<p>5!!! I thought the test as a whole was fine up until the third essay question. I thought it was a little unfair that they asked a North America question.</p>

<p>Dude, it’s not that big a deal. Everyone I know fails World History or European (kind of comparable), and since all my friends failed those, I got a 3 on European and was giddy. I know people who have never gotten a 5 on an AP and got into ivy leagues. Don’t freak out more than necessary</p>
