what do I need on SATs to get in UC Irvine

Well, I've been thinking lately about going to either UCSB (Santa Barbara) or UCI (Irvine). I've asked couple of my senior friends and they said that UCSB is not a good university because of common use of partying & drugs. After that, I've decided to strive for UCI, but my SAT scores are too darn low. I've been getting like 500s on math, 500-650 on writing, 300 to 400 on English. I am taking AP biology & have a C in the class. I am also currently in varsity rifle team & going to plan on joining varsity track and field. My GPA ranges from 3.33 to 3.71! sigh I don't know if UCI will accept it.

The profile for the 2004 Freshman Class at UCI:

26 = Avg. ACT Composite Score

= Avg. SAT II Math/b
**618
= Avg. SAT II Writing

95.2% = ELC Student Admit Rate

So you decided against UCSB purely because of ignorance on the part of a few friends? Check out this thread:
