I already turned in my application (just the long information portion), am working on my essays to submit by the end of September, and hope to send my transcript by next week. Do I need to turn in anything else to receive my acceptance/rejection letter?
Uh, test scores, letters of recommendation? The need to wait until decision day, unless the school has rolling admission?
Ask the college to which you are applying. Offhand I would say you probably need letters of recommendation. But since we do not know where you are applying we cannot give you a definite answer.
The school’s admissions webpage should have a list of all the materials which need to be submitted.
Oh yea, this is for Texas A&M College Station. I’m qualified for auto-admit under academic admit… and I just checked the list that they have on their site. Turns out that I need to turn in my scores and everything else I said before… recs are optional. Thanks everyone
Soph: Not to sound obvious but the purpose of a uni is to enroll and educate students. It’s safe to assume they have proven methodologies to do so. And it’s in their best interest to inform/persuade potential applicants – indeed make it easy whenever possible. Every college clearly tells people how/why/what the application process entails. You should go to the primary source first.
BTW: the transcript is sent by your school. You send the ACT/SAT scores however. Your parents fill out the FAFSA after Jan 1st.
T26E4: Yea I realized… I commented above about it too. Thanks for replying though
