What do I need to do to get into Newhouse!?

I really want to go to Syracuse! I want to go into the broadcast journalism program at Newhouse. I'm a rising Junior and I haven't taken the SAT or ACT yet but I'm planning on it, as well as AP's & Subject Tests. For EC's years & positions refers to when JR year is over.

GPA: w-4.18 uw-3.96
EC's: Photo Club (vice president)-3 years, Interact-3 years, Scholars Club-3 years, NHS(Historian)-2 years, Drama Club-1 year, School Newspaper-2 years.
AP's: AP World-I failed with a 2 (will that hurt me) sophomore year. This year i'll be taking AP Environmental Science, APUSH, & AP Lang. & Comp.
Other: I volunteer alot, idk how many hours as of date, but more than 100. I also am taking TV Production and Journalism classes in school and am looking to be published in a local paper this year.

What else can I do to get in!? Please & Thank you!

take ALOT of Subject tests! they helped so many people i know!
As much APs as you can!

Try alot more community service and as well as the local paper idea.

Do you have any clubs at your school? join some unique clubs or some that could fit into a hobby of yours!

Have you heard of Northwestern’s Medil School of Journalism? Its probably the Top Journalism school in the country! Newhouse is just as great too, though.
