the weekdays nights ??
Do people party during the weekdays too ??
or is it generally, studying/HWing, just relaxing in your dorm, etc etc ?

There will be parties everyday so as long you search for them, according to student responses on vault.com

There's really not that much partying during the weekdays compared to a school like MSU. A large majority of the students really only go out Friday and Saturday, and maybe more than usual on Thursday/Sunday for people who schedule a 3 day weekend.

Thursday is almost as big of a party day as Friday. I know plenty of kids who took the time to party Thurs/Fri/Sat every week even if they had classes on Fri. But yeah, there are parties every day and if you care nothing for your academic career or are just a genius you can get through college partying like crazy every night.

It really varies from day to day and when during the semester. Some days I have more homework than on others, and on these days, I'll probably stay in my room, go to one of the libraries, or look for a new place at which I can study. On other days, I may just want to hang out with my friends or go to a meeting for an extracurricular activity in which I am involved. (Most likely, I'll also have to find a little time to study on these days as well.) Midterm and final periods are much more hectic than the rest of the semester because everyone seems to want something from you. It's also much more difficult to find an empty table for studying (or anything else) during these periods.

i don't really like partying or going out too much on weekdays. it just doesn't feel right.

i'll be studying, working out, and playing basketball on weekdays.. haha.

I do the same as forgiven. Lots of basketball (especially during the 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 IM seasons) at the IM building and working and doing homework.

Does anyone know the percentage of partiers versus non-partiers at UM? Also, if you don't drink, will there be a group of other non-drinkers attending a party? Or, will non-drinkers be a conspicuous minority at parties?

At a party, there is virtually no pressure to drink anything you don't want to. Someone might ask you if you want something, and if you just say, oh i don't drink, or i'm not drinking tonight, that'll probably be the end of it. If you want to look cool (i.e look like you're drinking), you can just fill a cup w/ coke or whatever...nobody will know the difference.

As far as partiers vs. non-partiers, I'd say its probably set up on a bell curve, with a small minority never going out ever, and an equally small minority going out every night...the majority of people are somewhere in the middle.
