for me: binge eating

Cry and eat chocolate and rewatch the tv episode that made me sad in the first place

Listen to “Instructions for a Bad Day” by Shane Koyczan.

“If today is as bad as it gets, know that by tomorrow, today will have already ended.”

Write.
If it’s serious, listen to badass music until I feel angry instead.

For example: I just finished the season 2 finale of Torchwood. I’m crying and staring slightly blankly at my laptop screen. The binge eating will start in a few minutes, then I’ll start on season 3.

cry. i cry easily and it’s the best sense of release lol

or i get my mind off whatever i’m sad about by doing hw or something to occupy my thoughts, so i don’t go into a dark space

writing helps, too. i have like two whole journals full of the most sappy poems ever.

i just got a new puppy, so i play or cuddle with him when i’m feeling down LOL

also chocolate

I find watching funny TV shows and movies help.

I’m pretty much the same as everyone else here - I play music and watch Roosterteeth podcasts for my dose of comedy, hah. Tea helps, too, for some odd reason.

Seananners on youtube always makes me happy. I love alt rock or indie rock, so I could listen to that. Comedy or nice music makes me feel good.

Listen to music and take a 20 minute nap. It gets things off my mind.

I’m feeling really down right now and it’s hard to focus on all the hw I have to do. What do you guys do to solve that?

Satisfy your hand’s hunger by punching on the wall. One hit will do.
