What do you get for being on the Deans List?

<p>Did you guys, who were on the DL, get any certificate for making it?</p>

<p>I got a certificate and an invitation to an academic fraternity thingie. Pinned the certificate to my cork board and tossed everything else.</p>

<p>I got a letter from the Honors’ College, and a certificate from the school.</p>

<p>Free punch and cookies at the reception with the dean.</p>

<p>I got an email congratulating me and that was it. I think I got more recognition for making the honor roll in high school :-/</p>

<p>You can also add it to your resume. Plus, if you go to the reception, applause.</p>

<p>I got a “mention” on the list, but nothing else. It was nothing more than a ego booster.</p>

<p>My daughter got a 4.0 her first semester. She received a letter signed by the university president. It will be noted on her transcript. I think the most important thing that you get is personal satisfaction and parents who are very proud of you.</p>
