What do you like about Rutgers?

This thread is a must on any college's forum.... So what do YOU like about Rutgers? :)

Great school (academically), facilities, bests bang for your buck, diverse atmosphere and environment- many campuses ranging from rural to urban setting, far enough from home to feel independent but close enough for convenience, tons of academic options

I've been accepted at NB, so I'm only talking about the NB campus right now. Also I'm not a student YET but these are the reasons why I'm enrolling. (: (Plus I live 10 minutes from the campus so it'd be sad if I didn't know much about the school, haha)

Downtown New Brunswick IF by some crazy chance you get bored, and Highland Park, which is nicer than NB.

Like the person above me said, 5 campuses so if you change your mind about living somewhere you can move from an urban to a rural to a park like feel.

Also, like above, financially feasible. A good education WITHOUT the 50k price tag. Imagine leaving college without loans for the rest of your life, haha. xD

IMMENSE opportunities because it's a big school. So many majors that you have room to switch any time.

5 campuses kind of give you a places to feel at home, instead of everything being mashed together into one big super school. Makes everything more manageable, or a least a little bit less overwhelming in my opinion...

Each campus is literally a completely different atmosphere. There is a good diversity of students, lots of clubs and organizations, lots of activities going on, great academics, and homegrown traditions. Oh its also close enough to get to both NYC and Philly.

Make sure you sign up for College Ave Dorm. Its basically at the center of the whole campus. Much easier to get to different cases.

Advance science classes are at Busch

Never take math classes at Busch. Always take it at college ave.

Take classes at Douglas if possible. Thats where the rejects for other classes go. Your success depends on the failure of your classmates.
