What do you need to get accepted into Bowdoin?

Hi guys,

I’m a sophomore student living in NYC, and i’ve been researching colleges since 8th grade. Yeah, that’s kind of weird, but it’s better to be prepared. Anyhow, I researched into Bowdoin, and I really love it! It think it is one of my top three choices. But after hearing all of your statistics (from the guys that were accepted), i’m feeling a little overwhelmed. Could you express what you’ve done over the summer, or your GPA, or SATII scores, SAT scores, and what you think got you in? PLEASE GIVE ADVICE!!

Bowdoin, Colby and Bates doesn't require SATs and if you don't have -great- scores, then don't send them in. I didn't send mine in, and I got in. Definitely work hard at the essay, do an interview, VISIT BOWDOIN and make sure they know that you WANT to be there.

Correction: Colby does require the SAT 1, but the submission of the SAT 2s are optional. At the other schools you don't have to submit either.
