I said Virtually...2 APs is virtually no APs because it's JUNIOR year.

Well, this is not virtual. In reality, he's taking 2 AP's Junior year.

For Masterus, my school doesn't allow freshman, or sophmores to take APs until Junoir year. I'll probably do 1-2 more AP classes junoir year from online.

And Masterus, the reason I had only two APs JR year is because my school has most of it's APs senoir year. That's why you'd see me taking more APs senoir year. The admissions officers will understand that, AND i'm taking at least 2 APs online Jr year, so they'll see my dedication.

As long as you take the most rigorous classes your school offers, then admissions officers will understand. And taking online classes will be even better because that shows that you went out of your way to take more AP classes.

Exactly Jman, thank you!

My D was only ALLOWED to take at max 3 APs JR year - its all her highschool lets anyone

By the way, my school is the SAME. You don't see me stopped by it. Why? because I'm smart enough to take them, actually, too smart.

Looks like a solid schedule - and although like several people already voiced this, try to aim for four credits in foreign language.

Also, College Prep is the non-Advanced/non-Honors, right? At my school, it's Phase 3 [not Honors] and Phase 4 [Honors], and AP, but that's weighted the same as Honors. They're thinking of changing the Phase Three name to College Prep as well.

Eh...it would've been better if you had taken more Advanced classes freshmen year, but you said you had a long story behind it, so it's a-ohkay. =]

the only thing i'd change is stop stressing over your schedule. you've still got a long time til college. keep your options open in case you discover a new passion that you'd want to pursue. i have a question though. is it common on CC for people to be planning out all four years of their HS like this and asking people for advice? b/c that seems a bit over the top.

ummm i just really hope you're going to be able to stay motivated through that schedule. i know i planned mine out freshman year too and then was totally like, not taking this AP, nor this AP, nor this... now that i'm thinking about it i totally ditched 3 APs and 2 Honors classes, and i'm only a junior. senior year that number will increase to 6 APs and 2 Honors that I planned to but never took...

If the school has solid rules, they have solid rules, and if you take an AP class you have to take the exam

gosh, wonder how we get all those kids into top schools without 12 AP each...imagine that

And um, senior year is often the peak these days- that schedule counts as much as Jr year, as do the the grades...

I think someone here needs to check their ego at the door btw...
