what do you wear at exeter?

im a girlll.
are you allowed to wear jeans and stuff, or is it more formal?

My tour guide said jeans are alright and she was wearing them

yay. jeans are my bestfriend.

Yeah, you can wear jeans.

it actually was a lot less preppy then i thought it would have to be

clothes.

ie. sweatpants,uggs,jacket,jeans,shirts…etc…

Can u wear jeans at deerfield ? I know girls dont wear jeans at groton

no deerfield is super formal. u have to have at least 2 layers visible that aren’t like jeans/cami/tshirt

yaa my interview said something about always being well dress even in the weekends especially when u r having dinner.

I LOVE FORMAL SCHOOLS! Is easier to find what to wear

???how? that’s like having to FIND something to wear instead of rolling out of bed and throwing some sweats on… o.O

Idk there is no big fashion competition amongst the students!!

i’ve found there’s less of that at nonformal schools. more of the sweatpants variety, no time really to do any of that…

I wish american schools had uniforms. It made life so much easier, trust me. One thing I dislike 'bout Groton is no jeans. I only wear jeans, so if im lucky enough to get in I’ll have to buy a new wardrobe

my whole district has uniforms. its still a big fashion contest. trying to work around the system

Well yeah of course  but its still easier because you have a base. Plus our uniform code is almost certainly more strictly enforced than yours. I’m talking detention for wrong colored hairtie for the winter season. I was wearing white (summer) not navy on first day of winter term. Not usually THIS bad, that particular teacher was off her trolley but it’s a good example…

that it is. if i had to pick out a decent outfit every morning at 5:30 i’d go crazy lol

THATS a bit extraneous if you ask me
