Do you know any people who have had their offer of admission rescinded? What do you think is MIT's limit when it comes to grades after acceptance?

Little slippage won't hurt you. Relax, you got in, celebrate.

Having said that, don't start getting D's and F's. Even C's are bad.

what if i get mostly As/Bs/B+s for my final grades but get a C in this one elective i had to take to graduate (some cad class) am i good?

No. Not only are they going to rescind your acceptance, they're going to have you assasinated.

That was a joke.

I'm sure you'll be fine.

What happens to people when they get a rescension from a UC? Do they head to community college or can they still go state colleges? What's the deal?

for people who get rescinded from UC, they usually go to a community college for 2 years then try to transfer into a UC.
having 1 C should be okay

Can you get rescinded for a C in an elective?

as long as everything else is high and you have a good explanation, no
just don't go around trying to push your luck.
Come on! it's not that hard to keep your grades high! YOu been doing it for the last 3-4 years!
