Hello,
I was reading the forums and noticed that yesterday Cornell Likely Letters were sent out. I haven’t gotten one that says that “I am a likely candidate” or anything like that, but today I got two emails from Cornell saying the following: 1) Invitation to Diversity Hosting “This special invitation is extended to you because of your strong academic and personal record and because you will be admitted to Cornell University’s Class of 2019”; and 2) an invitation from the college of engineering to participate in admitted students events.
I understand that the first one estates I will be admitted, I just didn’t get any Likely Letter and all of a sudden I get this two emails. So my question was if this mean pretty much the same as a likely or it has less weight, or just some advertisement form their part.
Thanks!
