What else do I need to get done?

Hello everyone,

So far I’ve done everything on the Harvard website (submit Common App + Harvard Questions, send in test scores, pay the fee, etc)

I also noticed that there are a few school reports; are these uploaded by the counselor to the Common Application or sent in separately.

I also have supplemental materials to submit (a research paper). The website says to do this through the applicant status portal, but where do I access this?

Thanks!!!

If you are Harvard material, you can figure this out. Talk to your guidance counselor.

UPDATE:

The main questions that I have are on the transcript (is this submitted as part of the Common Application School Report by the counselor?) and the CSS profile.

I have the entire Common App with teacher recs, counselor stuff, essays, etc all done along with the extra Harvard stuff that is filled out with the Common App. (I also sent in test scores).

Is there anything else that I need to do before November 1?

Thanks again!!!

Your guidance counselor either uploads your transcript and Secondary School Report (SSR) directly to the Common Application, sends them by snail mail, or if your high school uses Naviance, you link your Common Application to your high school’s Naviance account and your GC uploads your transcript to Naviance. Watch this video to learn how to link your Common Application Account to your high school’s Naviance account: http://www.naviance.com/blog/how-to-match-your-common-app-and-naviance-accounts#.VjYURYSAnOw.

The CSS Profile is for applying for financial aid. You and your parents need to gather tax-related information and fill that out by November 1st if you want to receive your financial package with your acceptance letter in mid-December. @gibby Thanks so much for the information. You’re a life-saver!
