Approximately what do you need for a 5,4,3,2, or 1 on the AP World out of 120? To get a 5 at least based on MC, I'm hearing all different things. My teacher thinks you need half right for a 5, while PR says 50 out of 70 for a 3, big discrepancies.

Does anyone have a breakdown for this?

PR is telling you what you need to get to safely get a five. Your teacher's telling you the absolute bare minimum, it seems. I'd go with PR to be safe.

That's the thing --- PR said you need 50 for a 3, not a 5, while my teacher said just half right for a 5. That's a pretty big discrepency, so that's why I want to see what exact score actually gets a 5.

I pretty much got 50-60 in PR and I got a 5.. Just write good essays imo.. and the real test is a TON easier than the prep books..

ap world is one of the easiest aps.....don't worry about it

follow what pr says
50 or more m/c
7 on dbq 6 on cot and c&c

It's an easy AP test, for a 5 it's definitely going to be around 90 to 100.

...
not even gonna answer

I found the information. It's from 2002, so it might be a little inaccurate since more take it now, but oh well. I'm sure it hasn't changed that much.

It's discreet but it says you need only a 78/120 to get a 5.

If you get 87% or more right for the MC and don't seriously **** up essays, you get a 5.

Around 60% with decent essays will get you a 3.

I think my strategy will be to have a good MC (hopefully like Barron's style questions) and to nail the DBQ, with decent CC and COT.
